South Allegheny Band Parents

Perhaps the greatest single resource our Band Program has is the Band Parent organization. This is a volunteer organization whose membership is open to all parents and guardians of band members. Membership and participation is highly encouraged.

The Band Parents provide support for the Band Program in many ways, from fundraising to chaperoning. It is also an imporant ascept of the band in the way that it shows the students that someone cares so much for them to give their time and efforts to help them achieve success.

Get Involved!

Parents who show an active interest in their child are making a down payment on that child's future.

There are many committees and groups within the Band Parents that you may help to serve, and there is always a place for every parent, no matter how much or how little time you have to offer. The Band Parents are always looking for new ways to serve the Band Program and your input is always appreciated.

The Band Parents typically meet on the first Monday of every month. Feel free to attend our next meeting. There is no need to let us know ahead of time that you'll be there.
