Music Stores

From time to time parents have asked me where they can purchase items that band students may need. Here is a list of both local and mail order, reputable music stores.

While mail order and online music stores often offer slightly better prices, they obviously are not able to provide the service, convenience and individual personal attention that a local music supplier can provide. We do not recommend that you purchase any instruments online unless you have the direct guidance of an experienced professional. We have seen all to often someone who bought an instrument online, only to find that their purchase was a substandard virtually non-playable instrument that was not even repairable and therefore much more expensive in the not so long term.
