Pie Shoppe Profit Increase
Because of the volume of pies we sold, students will now make $2.00 per item profit from this fundraiser.
New Bingo Date -- The next Bingo will be Sunday, December 7th at St. Marks in Liberty Borough. The doors open at 2pm, early bird is at 3pm and regular games start at 3:30. If interested, call Sheryl Pope at 412-849-8254. Tickets are $20 and it is an all paper bingo. Donations are accepted and welcomed for the Chinese auction and bake sale. Come out and have some fun while supporting the band!
South Allegheny Alumni Band -- Next year marks the 40th Anniversary of the South Allegheny Band Festival, and to help commemorate this event we will be forming an Alumni Band to perform at the festival. Any former graduating member of the South Allegheny Band, Color Guard, and Majorettes are invited to participate. We are planning a "Big Event" and we are looking forward to having many former students participate in this Alumni Band. Be sure to check back soon; more information will follow in the coming weeks. In the mean time, mark your calendars! The 40th Annual South Allegheny Band Festival is Saturday, September 12, 2009. Feel free to contact Mrs. Greenwood if you have any questions.
Marching Season DVD
If you would like a DVD of a previous season, bring in a Blank Double Layer 8.5GB DVD+R. The video footage will not fit on a regular DVD-R. You can also purchase a DVD from the Band Parents for $2.50.
