Mr. William L. Riffle

William L. Riffle is the Director of the Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band and Jazz Band, as well as the Middle School Concert Band, at South Allegheny High School. He has been teaching at South Allegheny for 35 years -- 17 years as assistant director and 18 years as director.

Mr. Riffle is a proud alumnus of Duquesne University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. He has also done graduate work at Duquesne University and Penn State University, and has been recognized for 25 years of teaching by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.

His hobbies include long distance bicycling and tennis. He is happily married to wife Barbara, and has a daughter, Michelle.
